The Jepson family has been associated with funeral directing for over a century and remains proud to serve the local community. Three generations are currently involved in the business: Keith; Roger and Caroline; and Tom and Harry. Since Roger Jepson joined the firm in 1980, the business has grown steadily through the acquisition of other funeral businesses following the retirement or passing of their owners.

A significant milestone came in November 2011, when the family’s purpose-built funeral home in Wirksworth was officially opened by William Tucker, Lord Lieutenant of Derbyshire. The premises include a reception area, a cloister leading to the lounge and chapel, a courtyard, preparation facilities, a garage and private parking.
